We are always looking for high quality candidates to join our nursery and therapy team delivering evidence based early years interventions to children under 5 with social communication needs, developmental delay, sensory processing difficulties and autism.

Working hours and leave:

 

  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • As our children leave the nursery at 4pm every day you have an hour of dedicated time to catch-up on admin, supervision, training, attend meetings or do whatever else is needed during this time (4 – 5pm). Nursery meetings will also take place during this time as we value your personal wellbeing and want you to be able to leave on time.

 

 Training and professional development: 


  • Full support for training and development of our staff including investing in furthering education in relevant areas of work, e.g. funding a Nursery Nurse to attain their Level 3 qualification.

  • As well as a range of other professional development, Coaching and Mentoring support, this includes 5 inset days per year.

  • ‘Wellbeing days’, which includes small treats and surprises for our staff. 
  • Fully equipped staff room for the sole use of our staff. It’s cosy and well-appointed with workstations for you to catch-up on work if needed, comfy arm chairs and a lunch area. We also have a microwave, coffee and tea machines as well as a smoothie maker for those who want a healthier treat.
  • Regular staff socials and events are also an important part of life at Ohana Centre, for example our recent outings include bowling, escape room experience and going out for dinner and drinks. 
  • We also have occasional yoga and meditation classes which can be online or in the Centre.
